bought a keg, wife says no to co2 tank

Ok to clear a few things up, I only used the bicycle pump for two gallons. That was gone instantly as my friends were over and we ended up drinking a case of hurricane fourties after that. I did carbonate it I'd say maybe to one volume by priming the keg. I hung my keg by the lids handle to...

My update may surprise some but I Never did acquire co2. I just drank it as it built pressure from added corn sugar. Once it got low just blew in my gas line with a bike pump to get out the last two gallons. Going to probably grab a co2 cartridge bike thing to dispense. I'm going to pour the...

bought a keg, wife says no to co2 tank

OK so I got a keg used with gasline and serving tap to put my APA into. Found my welding tank was missing the pressure relief valve and nobody would fill it or fix it. I priced out a cheap tank and was told there wasn't enough money for the new tank right after I kegged the APA. Now I'm drinking...

I accidently made a mistake leaving the hops in the 5 gallon batch (3 oz of pellet cascade and 1/2oz whole leaf cascade). What kind of...

My rehydration procedure. Is it good or bad?

+ Wait a second, you're saying water is best when it has tap water garbage in it. Rather than filtered spring water. I used the ultimate sin for this batch (distilled water) and it actually gave me some insight into flavor and preference of water. What kind of water would you use...? EDIT: What...

Growing barley and finding the right seed, right strain, and right beer to make with

Here's the patch I cleared so far. Anyone have a suggestion on how to terminate staghorn sumacs, a non poisonous hybrid of poison sumac. Btw I decided I'm going to buy my seeds from johnnyseeds.com. They also have a nitrogen rich cover crop that has several different types of grain and some...

Growing barley and finding the right seed, right strain, and right beer to make with

Update. I'm not sure if anyone is aware, but clear cutting by hand is one of the most difficult projects ever. I got a small grove cleared so far. Going to use a chainsaw next time I go out but today I took some pics so everyone could see what I'm dealing with.

I passed it a lot when I was a kid. I like eating grapes too, so you can understand why I remember it so well. BIY needs a Facebook lift lol. At least have a picture of the inside of the store, showing off the selection.

I hit 500 beers on Untappd!

Don't you know. Hops aren't the only thing you can use to bitter beer. The Cannabaceae family also has other genus. And Humulus has others too. You have to look though. Not for us or beer supply outlets. I can't even legally say anymore without getting banned just take a look with google. Or get...

    Any altoona pa brewers?

If you take I99 north, and then 22 west, you will come to an exit for lorretto/ebensburg, when you take that exit, make a right at the end, in ebensburg, at the next traffic light, make a right onto manor drive. On manor drive, follow past the prison, about 3 mi to lorretto. In lorretto at the...
