I’m with you wilser. I pull it up and let it hang until I put my chiller in at 15 minutes. I bet ya I don’t even lose a cup of wort. Best $40 I spent on my set up. Thank you sir!!!

Tripod, grills for squeezing makes BIAB outside easy

Unfortunately I do not have a garage any longer, or any kind of ladder. I do have a Lowes close by so I can get some legs to lift it up high enough to drain. Not sure if I should get 8 foot lengths or 10 foot lengths. Hence my question.

What did you use for the legs? How long are the legs to make it a comfortable lift?

I was in Cologne and went to a local restaurant and had Kolsch until you have to put your coaster on top of the glass so they don’t pour more after your hammered i was not trying to make a Kolsch but a FireRock Pale Ale clone using a Kolsch yeast no worries

    WLP029 Did not start fermentation

I have made this beer numerous times and had no issues with pitching one pack of yeast. Usually starting fermentation after 12 hours. I Guess there is always a first time. I am going to try the US-05 yeast tonight.

Nothing froze but the wort has been at 68 degrees for a full two days now. I still have not seen any activity, small or otherwise. 100% sure of no leaks

No black fuzzy stuff as of this morning. Temp is stable at 68 I am going to my LHMS to pickup some yeast later today. I don't think they carry dry WLP029 but I can ask. If not I may use some 05 yeast just to get things started.
