Kegged My First Batch! Woohoo! Have question.

Kegged my first batch last night. :mug: Just a regular ol' stout. I figured I'd do 25 PSI for a couple of days and then bring it down to serving pressure. Does this sound right? Also, you you condition in the cold kegerator or outside of it? does it matter? Can't wait!

Now Im offically a brewer! But one small problem: Temp Control

for what it's worth, I don't think you'd have much trouble fermenting at 65 degrees. I've done many fine batches in the 65-70 area.

    chest vs stand-up freezer

I really like some of the chest freezers i've seen on here. They seem to be the better setup. But there is also the consideration of where you're going to put it and if you have a sig. other... what they might say. "hey honey, doesn't this chest freezer look GREAT in the living room!"...

Is my regulator messed up... or am I?

Right now I have a commercial keg hooked up to my new kegerator. I was dialing up the PSI to 11 but noticed that it wouldn't let me go past that. Is there an additional nut on the regulator that lets you choose to not let it dial past a chosen point? I bought this off of craigslist and I'm...

New Kegerator - Sankey tap interchangeable?

I'm in the process of doing that now. If i'm not mistaken, and i hope i'm not because i've already ordered my stuff, you need to first buy threaded ball locks with MFL Threads. Then you need to buy corresponding MFL swivel nuts. That is to hook up to homebrew. then you need to...

Well, I brew under 2 names. For myself and friends Mine is called "HOUNDBREW" after my dog. .. he's a hound... houndbrew, homebrew... yeah... But I play a lot of Call of Duty with friends and brew beer called "2Old4Duty Lobby Fuel" Here are some labels!

    Does everyone else do this?

I'm new but wanted to share. WHen i first started labeling, i used the "wet the back" label paper that was at my LHBS. But for the last couple i bought 8.5"x11" Full size label paper (uncut) and had prints done by the laser printer at officemax for .85 / sheet. They come out really well...

    "Modding" Brewer's Best Kits

I usually do this and throw in extra hops and flavoring stuff. It's quick and easy... I've done an Irish Stout, Steam Style, English Style Ale, Irish Red, and Holiday Ale by modifying BB kits.

Just bought Kegerator - 1 Step Closer to Happiness

I've been lurking on craigslist for a while but I finally pulled the trigger and picked up my very first kegerator! woohoo! It's the danby kegerator, the one with the LED temp thing. It's a bit beat up on the outside but it's cooling just fine. The LED gauge is a bit off, but i can...
