I just brewed a milk stout with coconut and cacao nib put into secondary. Question- since lactose is no fermentable how do I measure true gravities? Is OG and FG changed by the lactose? Hope I don't sound too ignorant
Wondering how I would get the true gravity of my stout. What I mean is that the lactose adds non-fermentable sugar so how does one figure out true gravities. Do I just take OG and FG like normal and figure total abv? Hope I don't sound dumb
