Need help designing an electric brew rig

Yessir, I can see why they call you Mr Wizard! I can't quite make out the details, is there any possible way to enlarge it? I am so happy to have this,so please don't go through too much more effort on my behalf. And yes, i believe my heaters are the same as you all ,240 volt. Cannot stand dry...

So if you had a super quick wiring diagram for my setup that would be more than amazing.

Need help designing an electric brew rig

Awesome, sir! That's exactly what i wanted to hear! Everyone else here was telling me i could not use the timer to control my pump. Mounted in one control panel will be 2 Sestos D1S's, 2 Sestos B2E's, hopefully 2 240LED's to indicate element operation, and 2 120volt green lights to indicate pump...

    need help with pid!

I like the diagram (mostly because i can understand it), but i don't see where you are tying in the B2E. Is it coming into terminal 3?

Need help designing an electric brew rig

So in theory, could not my Sestos B2E alarm trigger a relay to open and close a switch to a 1/2 hp pump? Even if i coupled the timer to an SSR?

Kal clone with Sestos components, diagram help.

So the timer can control both of the pids? The timer alarm out terminal 7 routes through switches to input terminal 11? When timer goes off, it kills heater in one of the controllers? Also, i want to time a pump to shut off.

    need help with pid!

Thank you, sir. I've searched high and low with little success. With my Sestos timers, I'm thinking i can operate a relay to time my pumps. With the other output would it be better to wire it directly into the temp controller or have a relay or switch between the temp controller and it's power...

    need help with pid!

Well, thx anyway. I realize that being biodiesel this project may be out of your normal parameters. I do have a few SSR's for 25A and 40A. The flow switch does seem like a good idea. But i totally believe there's gotta be someone on this forum that can picture what i need to accomplish and offer...

I need a single PID, single element diagram

I need a wiring too, please. I have 2 5500 watt heaters on 240.. I have two 1/2 hp pumps. These need to be controlled as two seperate pump and heater combos. I have 2 Sestos B2E timers and 2 Sestos D1S controllers.Timer 1 and controller 1 work together. Timer 1 will tell controller 1 when to...

What's the reason you all seem to prefer Auber over Sestos? It seems Sestos looks nicer.

My guess is that even with 2 twin timers, i cannot still have 'heating element on' light and 'pump on' light' because i will be using the alarm outs for other purposes.

    need help with pid!

Yes, that's pretty much what i need. PID 1 controls temps on tank 1. PID 2 controls temps on tank 2. Timer 1 to shut off pump 1 and maybe second alarm to cut power to heater 1? And tre same exact thing for setup 2. I believe the Sestos have powet off memory. If it's not too much trouble,could...

Okay, i (biodiesel guy) need to lean on the expertise of you home brewer guys. Our guys don't even know about PID yet! I have a 200 gal conical tank that circulates bottom to top. It has a 1/2hp pump and flows through an external steel box that contains a 5500 watt heater. I also use a 55gal...

    need help with pid!

I just bought 2 Sestos temp controllers with 25A ssr's and 4 Sestos Twin timers. Want to know how i can set them up. I want one temp controller on each heater. I want the timers to control the timing on the heaters and on the two circulation pumps.
