Keezer/lagering freezer help! 4.9 cu ft upright

Since the freezer only cost you $10, I would take the risk and bend the coils back. I did the same thing with an upright freezer I got on craigslist. Just take your time and go slow. Make sure you don't kink any of the lines. Here is a pic of mine. You can see I bent one shelf down and two...

    Faucets and shanks

I'm looking to buy faucets and shanks for a keezer that I am building. I thought there might be people out there who have upgraded to Perlicks and might want to get rid of there old faucets. If anyone has anything they are willing to sell me cheap, I would appreciate it.

Upright Freezer for Fermentation - Coils in the way

I did the same thing to make a kegerator. My advice is to take your time and bend them slowly if you do it. The risk is breaking the likes. I bought the freezer for $40 off craigslist, so I wasn't to worried about it though.

    What size hole for shanks?

I'm currently building a upright keezer and want to drill the holes in the door for taps that I will eventually buy. My plan is to use picinic taps through the holes and insulate with foam until I save enough money to buy Perlick taps and SS shanks. I've read of people using both 7/8" and 1"...

New Jersey 4 tap kegerator (not mine)

I found this four tap kegerator on Craigslist. It is a little out of my price range but I think it could be a good deal for someone else. I contacted the seller and they are asking $700. http://jerseyshore.craigslist.org/gms/4435359773.html

    Will these kegs work?

Thanks for all the information. I haven't seen them in person yet, but they are $20 a piece, so I think I'm going to go for it. Even if I have to put $30 into them for fittings I think I'll be saving money. 5 gallon kegs aren't so easy to come by around here. I would have to order online...
