    I'm running into the same issue. I have a 5 gallon fermenting at the moment and the fermentation only seemed to last a couple days using a Mead yeast. Although I can't see any active fermenting I decided I'll keep it in the primary for 2 months to at least age it. I may take a hydrometer reading...

    I'm glad you posted this because I made a 5 gallon mead on February 1st with the Lemonade concentrate and it is still actively fermenting almost 2 months later and thought something might be wrong. I get a bubble through the fermentation lock around every 10 seconds. I'm assuming that it does...

    Secondary with lime

    Careful with the lime peel, I just made a 2 gallon batch with 3 tsp of dried lime peels (made for brewing) in the primary and it came out very bitter without the lime taste. I wouldn't say it is bad, just interesting because it is a bitter beer without the lime or hop taste. Hopefully someone...
