    In the market for a conical. Help??!!

    I'm looking at getting a 14 gallon conical and I'm hoping I can get some advice from owners of both Blichmann and SS Technologies fermentors. Theres a pretty big price differential...is Blichmann THAT much better for the money?? I appreciate any and all input on this one. Thanks!

    Help selecting kegs...

    I plan on getting a couple corny kegs. I've seen some with a metal strap handle and some w/ rubber handles. Can i assume the only advantage to the latter is to protect everything on the top of the keg in case of a drop? thanks!

    Add during "late boil"???

    I'm not opposed to leaving out the molasses. The end result is a spiced stout, but no, I don't want it overly sweet. Would you omit the molasses completely then?? Is the recipe decent for a stout w/out the molasses? ty!
