If you haven't added a fan to your kegerator...

I could. I just went to look and there's a drain plug in the back! Then I wouldn't have to drill at all! Save for maybe widening the hole.

If you haven't added a fan to your kegerator...

Gotcha, Mine is a mini fridge setup so I'd have to drill into the fridge, hence my reluctance to do so. You should've seen me cutting a hole for the tap tower! I almost didn't go through with it!

If you haven't added a fan to your kegerator...

Where/how did you wire that up? I just don't feel like running wires into my fridge since I've got a closed system now. My C02 tank is inside the fridge with the regulator.

Brewing a Vanilla Cream Ale but have a question

That does seem like a lot... I'm no expert but I'd venture a guess and say you don't want to steep that much in an extract recipe. FWIW my caramel cream ale (all grain) only uses 1lb of caramel 60. :mug:

If you haven't added a fan to your kegerator...

I've had my kegerator for 2.5 years now and I've been too lazy to put a fan in. The only downfall for me has been the first pour being foamy. My temp is steady at 34-35. Maybe I'll actually put one in after I finish my Toolbox RIMS.

    Hello From Upsate New York

Hi Vinny, I've been a long time reader myself and finally decided to join. I've been brewing for a few years and have gotten so much from this site... Starting all grain, fermentation chamber and I'm currently working on a toolbox RIMS setup. Just tested my pump today!
