    Boil over nooB

I've only got a couple of batches under my belt. No BO yet (knock on wood). The spray bottle of water technique has been working for me. It knocks it down really well and gives me a little break in my hover time. Cheers!

Lol Thats one way to put it! I thought it was a bit much as well. The batch size is 5.5. I slightly tweaked the original recipe but not too much. According to the feedback from the original it seemed to please. I figured I could do multiple SG readings and top off with some h2o if its too high...

    Ambitious Noob

Hey all. After much lurkin I have signed up. I jumped right into AG off the bat (BIAB). Giving credit where credit is due... Charlie P,Revvy, Yooper, and Brian from NJ were the key players in seeing my ambitious attempts to fruition. Thank you for the advice. Bottled my Am Sim IPA the other day...

    Pressure canning wort

Finally signed up so please bear with me. I read somewhere you can boil the jars, and lids in the wort itself. Pull the nearly full jar out of boil with boiled tongs, then grab the lid out with tongs set on jar. Get some gloves and tighten lid. Continue boil for ten minutes. Any comments?
