How long is "too long" to leave a porter in the "secondary"? I have a porter that's in my plastic conical, it's been there for three weeks. I dropped out the flocculated yeast after two weeks. Do any of you do anything in the way of water treatment to your brew water? Here in the Detroit area we have pretty good water from the Detroit water system. Other than filtering it to remove the chlorination, is there anything else I should do? Or, should I even worry about that? MotorD...
