I'm working on a thing this weekend... For the record, that beer is called "Cosmic Monkey", and it's a RIS with caramelized nanner's. Yes, I know the Russians sent up a dog first, and American' we're more partial to monkeys, but damnit man, artistic licence!

The correct answer is that I'm an American with a terribly limited "fluency" in German. And I like how it sounds. And how its label looks. And how it relates to my work. (Disclaimer, artistic liberty will be taken at my brewery)

Another pour of Dunkelnacht... A dark Doppelbock.

Cosmic Monkey - a 12% Russian Imperial Stout with caramelized nanner's: Sour Puss - an 8% barrel Aged American Strong Ale that... Uhhh... Picked up too much character but came out great regardless: Dunkelnacht - an 8.5% dark Doppelbock that has too much dark fruit and not enough malt flavor...

Brewing today, so no full pints... but here's a pleasant surprise from a barrel beer that went sour. Was supposed to be a barrel-aged american strong ale. Turned out as a dark sour (to be fair, it was the fourth run on that barrel). It's tart, effervescent, and dry. Actually really daggum...
