    I have 1 Olde school left, its 4-5 years old, keeping it. As they don't sell in WI anymore. Can't think of anuthing off the top of my head that's sold up here and not down there that OS that good. Do you guys get sprecher? Ipa2 or black bavarian, or their RIS?

    Straining the Wort into fermentor?

    I've made this "mistake" on my first couple batches, IE dumping the entire contents of the kettle into the carboy. The beers turned out fine, its just more crap that get blown out the tube IMO.

    +1=842, let my friend do his first all grain batch on my equipment and yeah. My poor hydrometer has been my one and only through my first 55 gallons.

    Starter yeast vs Straight from the package?

    I am a newb and only done 55 gallons thus far. I haven't made a starter. I don't think i have needed to. I have done beers 1.070 up to 1.096. I just hope i dont encounter a situation where I should have made a starter.
