Seeking feedback on my smoked stout

Thanks for the feedback. I figured the roast would be acquired from the roasted barley. The debittered black malt with contribute color and some flavor. I wanted to avoid too much roast as I figured it would compete to heavily with the smoke. Discuss... Greg

Will microbrews kill the King of Beers?

No. And here is, in my opinion, why. Americans are sheep and will basically drink anything that is, "less filling, only 64 calories, cold filtered, tapped from the rockies, etc... etc.. etc.." The fact is, many people just see beer as yellow fizz and enjoy it at that. I think there will...

    Northern Brewer kits

NB is the ticket. DO Not hesitate to order from them. I like the fact that their kits don't contain some old packets of dry yeast, but contain wyeast instead. Their kits are solid, the directions are great, and the stuff is great to deal with. Greg

Killing spiders is bad karma plus, If you think of traditional hop fields, they probably don't kill spiders, but I may be totally wrong. Greg

    Jolly Pumkin Farmhouse Ale

It was my first step into saison styling, and it was a good first step. I love popping the bottle and just letting the bottle sit as I watch the head slowly creep its way out of the glass. :D Greg

Help me stock my liquor cabinet

I like the other suggestions, but try to get yourself a 750 of citadelle gin. It sells fro $22 at the store I work at. It's a very complex gin and is great in martinis or G&T's, but is also tasty on the rocks.
