    it cleared as i expected, have popped the radiator on down there, warm it up a little and give it some time to clear. thanks

    Beer has been in cold cellar since monday, tastes and smells fine but hasn't cleared yet, could be a chill haze? I have some cheap 'chitosan' finings i could use, but would like to avoid this if poss. Pointers to clear the beer in the keg? cheers!

    thanks for the help. dry hopping tomorrow for a week sounds good, fits my timescale nicely and gives a good week whilst i go away for it to condition. also, i have some chitosan finings, to use or not to use in the secondary? cheers.

    Hello all. ok so i started my muntons connoisseurs IPA kit on the 6th, has been in primary since then. last 2 readings (15th and 17th) have shown 1010 from an sg of 1042. If it is still at 1010 tomorrow im thinking i may drop in my dry hops for 6 days, then transfer to keg. Since i am going...

    I was thinking it would be easier to dry hop for a number of days in the primary, since im not sure how long it will be in the keg for, and wouldnt want to get any unwanted tastes developing.. I was just planning on dry hopping it for a week or so with no hop bag..

    sounds about right, thanks for the help. 2 weeks or so from now was pretty much my timescale. im going to keg it rather than bottle and then leave that a week whilst I go to the czech republic. cheers.

    Ok another one for you, how long to leave this in primary and when to begin the dry hop? I was thinking around a week of dry hop? I'm planning on 1oz total of hops, 50/50 citra Amarillo.     thats great, thanks for the help. I think I will just crack on with the kit using the 1kg enhancer, then dry hop in the primary towards the end of the fermentation, give the final product some body. thanks for the help!
