    Forgotten Fast Food Favorites?

How about the Mc DLT? "The cold side stays cold and the hot side stays hot" It was served in the side-by-side styrofoam box. Thats the other thing I miss.....the nice sturdy styrofoam containers everything used to come in.....ahh those were the days before we knew what CFC's were.

    Yeast Cake...How Long?

OK--Do you guys mean to literally pour the 'new wort' onto the cake/slurry that has been sitting in a 'used' fermentor? I guess my question is: How/ do I clean the "gunk" (off the sides of the primary without contaminating the cake/slurry that is in the bottom of the bucket?

What is it with Sam Adams specialty beers??

Sam Adams has a limited Imperial Hallertau Ale that is just great!! I think it only comes in 4-packs ($9). It is intense with Hops and 8%+ABV, but still very good. The other offering from them are hit or miss. Sometimes you can get a great Boston Lager and other times it will be....less great...

    Hello from Maine

Thanks Brewdoc. That is actually where I go to get my supplies! I was wondering more about beer stores that sell wider varieties of beer, not the typical BMC/hannaford selection. Thanks!
