    Malt and Hops balance with extract

    I just bought a coopers english bitter beer kit and two lbs of breiss pilsen dried malt extract (at the advice of the lhbs employee)... Now that I've been reading I'm worried that my beer will come out to malty without a hop addition. Has anyone brewed this mix before? Is there any rule of thumb...

    I just brewed up an ale (we will call it an ale) from two 3.3 lb cans of liquid malt extract (one light malt unhopped extract one pilsner hopped 40 ibu extract) and one lb corn sugar.
