    Pro brewing books?

    After home brewing for several years I just got hired for a brewing position at a local brewery. I was wondering if any pros on here have recommendations on good books and material to read to help me In my future position?

    My first all grain batch!!

    drank the first beer from first all grain batch of beer! A single hop IPA using pale malt, Munich, caramel 30 and nugget hops. operation was ghetto as can be. Mashed the grains in a black trash bag in a styrofoam cooler and lautered in a Zapap tun. Not so good efficiency but taste great

    Help with hop schedule,

    Just bought a bunch of Apollo, nugget and cluster hops from the hop direct yard sale. I'm using 9.9 # breiss golden light extract and I'm making an IPA. Any one work these hops before and have some tips for me?

    Hops, hops and more hops!

    Just bought a bunch of hops from the hops direct yard sale. 2 pounds nugget, 2 pounds cluster and 1 pound Apollo. I've never used any of these before and I was wondering if anyone has any advice of reviews????

    Wyeast 1272? Fast start, slow finish?

    Just brewed an IPA using 9.9 lbs of breiss Pilsen extract, and used 2 smackpacks of wyeast 1272. OG was 1.071. It started fermenting very fast(4-6) hours and by morning blew the lid off my fermenter! This is my first time using this yeast. Now after 2 days it has slowed down considerably. Has...

    Re capping?

    I just opened a bottle after two weeks of carbonation and it wasn't quite ready for drinking. Can I recap that beer or did I just waste it?
