I bottled a Holiday Ale for this x-mas but I'd like to keep some for next year. What's the best way to store? When I put the others in the fridge in 2 weeks, should I put them all in? Or leave a six pack out until next year? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure they changed the glue. I use Amstel Light bottles ( i get them by the caseful from the pub up the street) & the last batch was tough to get the labels off....even with hot water. They were even extremely sticky after I got the label off & soaked them.

You referenced to not use Cooper's. Just curious as to why? I use the priming sugar to carbonate my brew but got a bag of Cooper's carb drops for the Apfelwein I'm brewing this weekend.

Here's the kit I bought. It doesn't taste as stale...but the stale aroma you notice. It's drinkable & the Holiday Ale should be soon.

I bought the Gold Seal Holiday Ale kit from Austin Homebrew. No idea how it tastes yet but it smelled great when I added the Holiday Spices.

I move the pot clockwise but wasn't moving the ice around. Also, I was following the directions (wort to 80 degrees then to primary then add rest of water) thinking it was a no-no to add cold water to the wort. I read on here about freezing some of the additional water & using a ladel...
