I considered entering one of my IPA's, but couldn't bring myself to part with 4 bottles of "liquid gold".

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm down to about a half a keg of this. Used Columbus and Simcoe this time around. Brewing it again with citra and calypso this weekend. I plan on using wlp029 with this hop combination as it has turned out well the last two times I used them.

That is good to hear. Give WLP 029 or Wyeast 2565 a try next time.

Its just a personal preference.

The grain bill looks fine. I prefer using Marris or sometimes portions of it in IPA's, but some on this board will say it shouldn't be used in an IPA. It's more about your own personal tastes. Check out past NHC Cat.14 winners "recipes". It makes sense. I would opt for a larger dose of hops...

I would drop or move your 45min addition. All it is going to do is add bitterness without much flavor if any. Might as well save some of that simcoe and just increase the hops in the 60min addition for better utilization. Or add a 10, 15 or 20 minute addition if your looking for a hit of...
