    Flying Fish Red Fish

I have searched through the threads but cannot find a recipe for flying fish red fish. Their website lists it as a west coast hoppy red ale. It is also one of my favorites to drink, so its time to try and replicate it. Anyone have a recipe or any thoughts on this?

Any tips for a beef brisket?

Brisket is easy and there are a million ways to cook it. As long as you don't burn it or dry it out, it will taste good. Rubs should not be difficult either. I have mixed up complicated ones, but I have also cooked brisket with only salt and pepper and they turned out great too. The big...

    Suggestions for a new grill

Weber 22 inch. I use mine constantly. Does everything. And looks cool too. They also last forever. I just sold my red weber, it was from 1979.

    Hurricane Sandy

No power, no flooding. So I guess its not too bad. They say 7-10 days for power. In bed last night and the top row of vinyl siding on the house comes loose, about a six foot section. The wind is banging it against the house. I can see it out my bedroom window, its well under the eaves so...

    Hurricane Sandy

Lower manhattan is long overdue for some flooding. Hope it doesn't get the White Horse Tavern on bridge street, or I will have to find another place to meet my buddy for lunch once a month. I watched a Discovery channel show about a hurricane hitting manhattan at high tide. The outcome was...

    Hurricane Sandy

I went through Navy dive school in the 80's and the instructors purposely try to drown you. It sucks bad. I can still vividly remember every time. While any way of dying is going to suck, drowning is particulalry bad in my opinion.

    Hurricane Sandy

That's a good looking pizza oven. But why did you build it in the middle of a lake? I built one too. Started it last spring, figured it would take a month or two. I did not factor in that we were going to get rain 6 days a week last year. So it took a little longer than planned to complete.

    Hurricane Sandy

I am tuning up my generator at the moment. Got everything that can be blown away moved inside. I loaded up on beer and booze. Probably should have bought some food. Oh well. I was watching the weather channel and one of the predicted storm routes has the eye passing over my house in...

    Calling all Bubbleheads

USS City of Corpus Christi, SSN 705. God's Flagship. A long time ago... Hey Nukebrewer, I was just up in Groton a couple of times recently. We had a boat reunion, then my good friend retired from being the Command Master Chief of Subschool, which I could not make, then I went back up with my...

    Hello from New Jersey

Hello, my name is Chris and I am from Northwest New Jersey. I have brewed a few batches of beer but it was so long ago I have forgotten everything. I came here to try and change that. Its time to start brewing again! I just started fermenting my first batch of red wine a few days ago. I...
