    Sourness again

    Made a pumpkin ale partial mash using real pumpkin, sat in primary for 3 weeks, transferred it to a secondary just now and tasted a sip. It has a sour bite to it. I'm wondering if this is from using the real pumpkin, my blow off tube being too deep in water, or will it go away after another week...

    I cracked open a bottle of an IPA I made and it tasted amazing, just had an initial sourness flavor to that first sip.     Is it ok to use the dishwasher plastic limbs to rest your bottles to drip dry after dunking them in star san? I would of course run a cycle first. Just curious if this is a viable option w/o the bottle tree.
