    Vanilla Mead

    Mine came through very clear right up until i stirred up sediment, no finings used. Maybe a difference in the yeast used?

    Vanilla mead all finished, looks like high life, tastes like the fields of elysium. Disappointed that vanilla and the earl grey didn't come through better, but it's so tasty it doesn't really matter.

    Finished bottling the bochet. Tastes like girls kissing. Going to have to make more.

    Can I use acid blend instead of malic or tartaric acid? My LHBS only had the blend.

    With burnt mead, do you basically stick to the same ratio of honey to water that you would with a normal mead, or do you need to measure based on the cooked weight of the honey?
