    4 weeks it is then. My first two batches sat for three weeks so it will be interesting to see the difference another week makes.

    I use northern brewer. I have not compared prices with other online suppliers but so far I'm very satisfied with everything I have bought from them. I bought the deluxe starter kit from them and when it arrived my six gal carboy was broken I called them the next day and they sent me a new one...

    That's why I keep the lid on and keep the ice, water and or snow outside my brew kettle.

    I like to use a large cooler outside and i fill it with water and ice or even snow it seems to work really well for me and usually gets the wort down to 68 or 70 degrees in about 15 or 20 min with enough snow or ice.
