Thanks. I agree about the pellicle because the 18 month old beer never formed one when it was in primary due to the fact that there was, like you said, barely any headspace for oxygen.

First two are of a 2nd Flanders red pitched onto an 18 month old roselare cake. Edit:* I brewed this one in late December. 2nd 2 are of the 18month old beer racked to secondary which later developed another pellicle. Both have undergone a hardcore change since i last checked on them 3 weeks...

Never heard of it didn't realize it was a beer. I stand corrected then. Thought it was just a messed up sign.

Small pour of my first berliner weisse. Racked onto a Small amount of raspberry. Slightly strange "cant place it" kind of smell initially. Not bad or good really dont know how to describe it. has a nice tartness not extreme but definitely there. Nice carb but can use even a little more. Thinner...

Buddy system IIPA by finback brewing. These guys are consistently producing great beers. Kevin and Basil will be guys you'll all know of soon.

Drinking a year old hopslayer at a random bar in PA. Taste like a mild barleywine at this point. A let down but surprisingly not that sucky.
