    There is no dip tube that I'm aware of. The false bottom is free to move around. Also, one side looks slightly flared. The grain bill was 12lb 2row, 1lb crystal 40, 1lb carapils milled at home.

    When I went to run off I got about an ounce of wort with a little grain and nothing I did could get it unclogged. I might need to find a way to keep the false bottom from moving around. Perhaps I stirred to vigorously when adding the grain. Trail and error.

    Out valve spraying.

    All good advice. Dry hopped in a muslin bag. The new poppet in this keg is made for the keg model. I've got another out hose set up so once I kick the keg (which will be soon because it's ******* delicious) ill take the whole thing apart and give it a good cleaning.

    As to how it tasted...it wasn't medicine like or necessarily foul tasting, though warm, uncarbonated, unconditioned "green" beer doesn't taste that hot to begin with. I'm just gonna let them condition in the bottles for a few weeks and then see what I end up with.

    It was in a coopers bucket. I took the lid off once to remove the krausen sleeve from the fermenter. This was about 6 days after fermentation began. I haven't tasted the brew yet. The raisins were puréed with 2 cups of boiling water and added for the last 10 minutes of the boil.
