Thanks for all of your input and the kind words about my animal. MD, you are right, after reading a bit about the history of beer in Hungary, it seems a Vienna lager on the dark end at around 15 SRM would be just the ticket. Now off to work on the recipe!

I am looking to make an all grain beer that matches my Hungarian Vizsla. I am thinking she is about an SRM 18, but I could be off on that, what do you think? What should I be brewing? Irish Red Ale? American Amber? Any help would be appreciated.
