You normally only dump the first part of the yeast. You need some in there to finish fermentation and the racking arm keeps you from sucking that up

This is really a slick setup. Couple of questions if you don't mind. I only see the one pump, so you gravity feed the BK while pumping your instant sparge water to MLT? Or are you batch sparging?

It's not a ball lock post, its just called a QD post adapter. If you look closely, you'll see threads and no poppet. Its just getting you from the MFL post to the size of the pin lock

That would work as well. I have pin locks as well but am considering swapping the connections to ball locks for convenience

Those small bungees have me worried. have you tested it with a full sixer? i'd be worried about too much bounce when i walk. Lastly, hope you used wood glue because those little brad nails won't hold the bottom on forever. Other than that, looks simple and clean.
