Has anyone carbed soda just like their beer?

What faucet works good besides a picnic tap. That will not leak at 30+ psi

    Serving question

Hi I am enjoying my 2.5 gal corney keg with a barqs root beer bag in box set up. I carbonate the water to 55psi for 2 days and I leave it as is. I don't drop the pressure at all. I'm serving the water in a mug than add the syrup. I disconnect and reconnect the picnic tap to prevent leaking. My...

    Carbonation problems

But then again, it's not logical that (if the liquid is fully carbonated, than one pour at 6psi is a way to de carbonate the liquid). It might be that you are just too anxious for yummy root beer.

    Serving question

Hi just got my new keg and been practicing using it. It is a 2.5 gal corney with a 5lb co2 that fits in the refrigerator outside. I'm using it to serve water into syrup for sodas. What I do is connect the co2 for about 2 days at about 40 psi than attach my picnic faucet (about 5ft of line) to...

    Kegging a La Croix?

I'm having the same problem. I took apart the faucet flapper first to disassemble, then pulled, and stretched the spring, then reassembled flapper last. This improves a little. But I also want to know if there is another faucet available for the corney keg?

    Carbonation Questions

Look into a 2.5 gal corney keg. With a 5lb co2 tank. I think this is ok because I'm sure you will want a little more to expand your supply in the future. I know you will want more root beer. I think it's just enough to start your soda making.

    Coke/Pepsi bag in box sources?

Just ask a store owner that sells soda. Let him know you would like a BIB and would pay a fair price for home use. Your bound to find someone to honor your request. You'll may even get it cheaper that way. May even get several used boxes for cheap.

    Carbonation Fail

I don't know. But is this the first time ever using the cream soda? Have you had success with it before? If its the first time than try again if it works the problem may be with the equipment, if not than you might look into the recipe. Also it may be only you need to wait longer for it to carb.

    Water filters

Hi guys, I live with very hard water and my car windows can prove it. Anyways, unlike my car windows, I really love my new 2.5 corney keg. I was hoping to not mess it up with my raw tap water. Is there someway to filter the water so it goes clean into the keg?

    Keg question

If you carbonate at 30 psi and forget to check on it, while the co2 is still running, can a 2.5 corney keg ever blow up in a refrigerator?
