In all honesty I was gonna say Surly as its easily my favorite local beer. I just didn't know if he was looking for like a taproom/brewery experience.

Do you have access to transportation I.e your own car? If so there's the Fulton Brewery/ taproom in downtown Minneapolis. Northbound smokehouse and brewpub is closer to Bloomington. Also Indeed brewery is in NE Minneapolis. Or if your looking to just pick up a growler there's Vine Park...

So I just bottled a batch of a Surly Furious clone and a pumpkin ale. I'm just worried where to keep them til they are drinkable. Can I set them in my garage which will be anywhere from 40-50 degrees or do I need to keep them inside for at least a week or so until carbonation is complete?

I found out the property I work on has a very nice plant of sunbeam hops growing. What kind of beer can I make with those types of hops?

The property I work on has some hops growing there but the woman who planted them doesn't remember what kind they exactly are. Is there anywhere where I could find out exactly what kinda hops I have on my hands?

Just started visiting the site... Lots of great info on here. Started brewing about 6 months ago and just completed my 8 batch yesterday. Brewed Surly Furious and looking forward to see how it comes out. If its as good as the original it will be an enjoyable drinker.
