That's kind of what I figured, if color is the only thing really different than I am ok with that. It'll probably just be for me anyway, unless pops catches wind of it haha. If worst comes to worst, at least I'll have an excuse to rebrew it! :mug:

Aha! I see, thanks! I plan on only living in the apt for another year or so, so hopefully I would be able to plant them outside after the first year. But this helps me start sooner!

Holy crap! Am I reading these dates on the posts correctly? Did that Columbus grow that high in two-three months time!?! Dang. I really wanted to start growing hops this year, but I live in an apt. and can't have a plant that big! :(

Hopefully they are as good at sending out packaged hops as they are at sending packaged responses. ...ba dum ching!

Yeah definitely agree, the more I think about it the more I find it irritating. But let us know when you get yours and what the weight is so I can make sure it is not my scale that is throwing the weight off, if you don't mind.

Could be, although it is usually pretty accurate and I measured it using pounds, then oz/pounds, then ounces, then grams just to make sure. I've never had a problem before, but it is pretty close to a full pound so I won't rule this out. But it is so much more fun just to complain on a...

They definitely had the hops, I ordered a pound of citra. Great price, incredibly fast delivery (order shipped 1 hours after ordering, here in three days) however it was only ~15 oz. So still not sure if the trade off of getting it sooner is worth getting shorted... luckily I still have some...
