    off flavor help

    recently brewed an amber ale and it turned out completely opposite from what i was expecting... can some one help me figure why it turned out this way.. its hop forward for sure and has firm dryness at the end lil to no body and light mouth feel... alot of atringecy flavor also... 60 min mash...

    Lagering and bottling?

    I made two 3 gal. batches and will be lagering it for about 30 days... will I need to add more yeast when I bottle of will it be ok?

    To go from 1.049 pre boil reading on a refractometer to a 1.046 reading after the boil? Really confused about it

    mash issues today... ideas?

    tried my hand at an amber recipe again today and ran into a couple issues... i used 12lbs 2.0 oz of grain and it told me to use 16.16 qts of water... heated to strike temp mashed in and hit temps perfectly and mash ph was great... seemed to be alittle too much water but went ahead and...

    raising abv?

    i just tested my pale ale im making after 10 days in the fermenter and its only reading at 3.02 abv... should i let it go longer or can i add anything to raise it up? it has stopped bubbling for at least 3 days now...

    Missed final gravity on stout??

    ESB didn't carbonate in the bottles help!?
