    Me and my mate just opened a UK imported Fosters with the use by date of 2001. Nose was like cheap Riccadonna and tasted like glucose and caramel. Poured a really good head and moderate carbonation. Are we going to get sick, or die?

    I was thinking of making a small batch of Coopers Stout + Dark Ale (Classic) But don't want a huge abv (like nothing over 6%) How would it work if I added minimal or no Dextrose to the mix and maybe less water? Never done it before with out fermentables. Thanks for your time.

    Thanks for the support Bob! Everything was on special at the supermarket and I just used the hops I had left over it was very last minute. I'll age it out for a good while after bottling and keep you posted.

    Cooper's DIY Kit - Who is using it?

    I love the new "DIY" Fermenter. I like that I can remove the collar it helps it clear quicker it also gives it more headspace. Also no threads, so cleaning is REALLY easy. Ive made 8 batches in it so far.
