My wife bought me some Riddel beer glasses for Christmas. The instructions for those say to rinse with warm water, dry, and hold over steam to eliminate spots. That's what I do, for what it's worth.

I have wondered this too. I have always read that it should be in the dark. I was watching "Beer Wars" the other day and I noticed that when they were interviewing the owner of Dogfish Head at his house he had a carboy sitting on the window sill. Maybe it's a certain type of beer?

I found some of these at a local supermarket, here in Longview, TX. I put one in a sampler 6er, cause the bottle looked so cool. I'll just say I'm glad I only had to drink 1! I like to keep 1 bottle from each batch I make though. So now Buddha is holding a kolsch! Cool bottle!

Ya there is a distinct possibility that read it wrong. I for sure added the yeast. Is there any way to recheck the FG now? I mean will I get the same number?

I am brewing my 4th batch right now (AHS Kolsch). So when I checked the OG just before I primaried it was 1.040. After a week in primary and another in secondary ( which I am finding out may not be necessary) it is still 1.040. The airlock bubbled for the whole first week, and since I'm still...
