i bought a soda fountain yesterday mainly for the kegs that came with it. the kids want the fountain set up in the bar area. can i use the bibox transfered into the keg or are the syrups different?
oh its good the seals are fine its only five years old. the garage is not insulated and detached from the house. it gets too cold in the winter and the compressor shuts down, however mother nature dosent and i end up with frozen beer!! cant wait to install my wood burner!
im in central illinois and have frozen the kegs before. now im gonna wire a temp controller and a heat source inside the fridge before winter!! also help to keep my beer at a steadier temp in the summer months or a second lager chamber.
I searched the forums and came up with only one thread started this one the all the other show up at the bottom after you post it. Idk if I was searching in the wrong forum or what. I think I'm just gonna buy a dedicated mill and use an old drill I have to power it.
has anyone tried the kitchen aid grain mill? i recently ground a deer with the mixer attachment and started to think about beer (well i was having a few). if you have used one how well does it work? too fine too coarse does it adjust ect.
thanks for the link there happens to be two in decatur! thats only 15 minutes away, have to check in. i live in a very small town so im the only brewer....
yup i think im gonna keg it tuesday after it thaws and settles. now to figure out why my digital thermometer bypassed power.. i tried to hook directly to the compressor and that might have been my downfall
My keezer lost power and restarted without the digital temp sensor..that led to an overnight 20 degree freezer with my lager in secondary in it!! Now the whole carboy is almost frozen. What should I do it still has a two weeks left before bottling?
