    Wow...so I finally had my first cup of this, such a great beer. Thanks everyone that helped. The only thing that was wrong with it was the bits of hops that are floating in the beer, so maybe next time i'll try the gelatin to clear it more

    well i was going to brew the version of it that was this: 8.5 lbs Pale Malt 1 lbs Munich Malt 1 lb. Wheat Malt 0.75 lb. Caramel Malt 20L so you're saying keep the 0.75 caramel as grain and convert the rest to dry extract? thats very little grain, i usually do my PMs will around 4-5 lbs of grain

    hmmm, do 3.25 gallons for the mash, and on the side heat up 1.75 gallons of water. Add the 1.75 to the 3.25 then do your dunk sparge. Would that work?

    Ah..glad you wrote that..i was planning on doing top off water. I'll do a full boil now...what about his sparging question? I usually sparge the grains when i brew, should i not in this case?

    its hard to find what the DME consists of...northernbrewer sells Muntons Extra light DME...i did some googling and it seems it contains 2-row and carapils http://www.northernbrewer.com/shop/munton-s-dme-extra-light.html is that okay? its more expensive than Briess, or should i just use Briess...
