No, I suppose I should have but I was by myself, running in and out of the house helping my wife who just had surgery so I didn't really have time. Sorry.
I am not sure, the web site didnt say but they work great! Mada a batch of porter yesterday, only took 20 min from tap temperature to 170 and only 15 to start the boil!:ban:
So it seems I have already solved my problem, my first regulator must have been a low fixed one or something, only shot out sooty orange flames, the new 0-30 pis should do the trick, thanks for the advice!
Just have a question about my jet burners, I need an orifice for them, what size should i use? Where do I find them? I have ten tip burners if that helps.
Thanks for the link! I wasn't able to found the other cart mentioned anywhere, I believe it is out of production, going to try the king kooker, if it won't hold up I'll build a unit like my original plan.
I am building a three tier system (10 gal) and I saw the king kooker online today, it seems like the perfect setup for a three tier system, all I need to do is build a stand for my cooler hot liquor tank to stand on. Has anyone used this or heard about it being used? If you don't know what it is...
When I first started brewing I had a few rolls of blue painters tape leftover from work. Figured what better way to label the beer. I still label my beers with blue tape and sharpie, thus started Blue Tape Brewery.
20 years ago I was 5, ha ha. Anyway he said they are "at least" 20 years old. But they are all pop-offs, said he used to own a restaurant and that they were the "deposit" type. Anyway thanks for the input, does anyone know if they carry value at all? Or would it just be nostalgia?
Even in the case that I have 5 cases? Only 7 of which are full still? Seems like its a bit of a waste either way, do they have any real value though? I paid the guy $20 for them.
the other day i purchased some beer bottles from a guy on craigslist. He said that they were old (20+ years) They are all coors and budwieser bottles (some even remain unopened) My question is should I be using these for my homebrew? I feel a little sad taking the labels off such old bottles...
you talking about a false bottom or a copper manifold right? Ok, does it have a ball valve already installed? How much do you want for it? also might want to check shipping to 89123. Thanks!
