    plastic 1/6bbl kegs

    I was just online and found plastic 1/6 bbl kegs. Pretty cheap. $45ea brand new. They use the sanke fitting. It says on their website not ideal for home brewing. Any opinions. Ball locks getting hard to find. www.plastickegs.com

    My first competition and I got a 36 on my siason and 34 on my berliner Weisse I will compete again. My score sheets were hard to read the comments. The judges must have been a lil wasted when they got to me, But a Master Judge that scored my Saison said " would I have another?... YES" that was cool!

    Added Honey to my Big Texas Honey Wheat

    ok cool, I read that if you add honey at end of the boil you loose most of the "honey flavors" and aroma. I know thats why one should use honey malt to get those flavor profiles but since there is no "right way" I will post my results in about a month.

    I also go to Brew- It- Yourself on 45 they have Better prices and also better service. I go to defalcos only If I am brewing at my friends place in the heights. I will be there on Thursday. I get off at 5:30 that day so it should work out perfectly!

    Saison Boulevard Smokestack Series Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale Clone

    I made a similar Clone of my own. Turned out great! If anybody wants to trade sample for sample I am down. I could use some critiques from other brewers. I entered it in to the Bluebonnet Brew off 2012. Cant wait til March 24th!!!
