    Brewing with an induction burner.

Does anyone have experience brewing with an induction burner? I have access to 10g kettles/stock pots that would work on induction burners, but have never really heard of anybody using them for brewing before. One would think they'd be ideal because you can control exact temperature and hold it...

Is a Refractometer/Brewfractometer worth the cost?

Hey guys, for those of you who own one of these gizmos, have you found them to be useful enough to warrant a $25-$100 investment? I'm starting to move from extract to all-grain and I'm trying to figure out the essential hardware to amass and this one has got me stumped. I typically brew...

I'm looking to make a very citrusy ale and have some combination of Citra and Cascade hops. But I wanted to know has anyone tried dry hopping...

    Straying from extract kit recipes

So I recently bought a Brewers Best American Pale Ale Kit. Makes 5 Gallons. After thinking about the ingredients I'm contemplating subbing some out for better quality ingredients and want to know if/how it will affect my beer. - It has 1 lb. Caramel 20L and am thinking about cutting that with...

Hey everyone, just started brewing a few weeks ago and am pretty sure I'm going to be hooked for life... I signed up for this because everyone on here knows a lot more about brewing than I do and when I start brewing some bolder brews am probably going to have a lot of questions... anyway, see...
