    First attempt at mead: JAOM

    Well I followed the directions for a JAOM , only diff I used 4# of local honey, and a blood orange... Just mixed it up 3 min ago... Also I used EC-1118 as that is what I had available. I will update as it progresses. Any hints or tricks, lemme know :)

    Strawberry Jalapeno Wine

    Well I just put a 4 gallon batch of Strawberry Jalapeño wine into primary... Should be quite interesting... 3lbs Jalapeños - de-stemmed only, left vein ad seeds for heat 3.5lbs fresh strawberries 2lbs golden raisins - simmered to soften 3.5kg dextrose (corn sugar) Water to 4 gal 3tsp pectic...

I currently own and run a vint on premise store focusing mainly on wine, my partners and I are just about to do beer as well. I have only started "home brewing" recently...
