I'm brand new to brewing, and I want to start with a Weizenbock, my favorite type of beer. I'm looking for a darker colored brew close in flavor to Live Oak Primus (which is superior in flavor and drinkability to Schneider Aventinus imho). I'm trying to bring out the banana and bubblegum esters...

Primus is my very favorite beer. The prospect of brewing something similar is the whole reason I'm getting into brewing. It's a little sweeter and smoother than the Schneider Aventinus. The alcohol level is the same, but it seems more subtle. I'm a beginner so afraid I'm not of much help yet...
