Specialty IPA: Red IPA India Red Ale

Last attempt went at this went a little off. Collected too much pressure boil and longer boil forced darker color. Pitching on top of a stouts yeast cake didn't help either lol. "India very dark brown ale" I do this beer single hopped with a ton of Nelson saivon. Call it Nelson the red. No...

American IPA My 2-time gold winning American IPA

This recipe is my go to for all things ipa. I switch the hops and yeast almost everytime. I usually lager it when I am too busy to tend to the makeshift swamp cooler because my wife does not like to use the ac and it's too hot here in the desert to leave it out otherwise. Cry havoc or California...

Couldn't help it. Chilled one to sample. My mug was a bit too cold I think. Froze the head so I'm unsure about retention. Did not gush when opened. Good carbonation. Lots of berry flavor. Very tart. Espresso on the finish. Not to hot on the alcohol. I'm going to have to chill another to check...

The starting gravity was about 1.10. Got complacent and didn't document. The temp in my bathroom tub where this was stowed away was a pretty constant 70 while fermenting.
