    95% RIMS Build

I call it a 95% RIMS build, because I will provide all of the components, however the wiring is DIY. I'm attaching a screenshot of the individual components. Additionally I can include the gray waterproof plastic housing that I used for my setup, a large emergency stop switch, individual...

I've got about 95% of the equipment needed for a RIMS system: RIMS tube, PID, etc. Other than one test batch the system is new. I'm no longer in a position to use it so I'm seeing if anyone local is interested. I will only sell the items as a package deal of components, the system will not come...

I've only shopped at Brew Time twice, since my all grain supply is just now dwindling. Don't have too high of an opinion one way or the other yet. I've had the most luck with Alaska Home Brew Supply in Palmer for when I can plan ahead. I'll probably be hitting Brew Time up soon for grain for an...

Wired - in Fairbanks there are 2 breweries you should check out: Silver Gulch located about 15 minutes north of town, and HooDoo, right in town. Silver Gulch has a full restaurant, while HooDoo is a tap room that generally has some food options available.

What I did for beer today

Brewed a maibock. Put my keg of Annibrewsary in the kegerator. Kegged my 567 IPA. Sorted and organized my 9 pounds of hops. Am just finishing up the mash and beginning the boil for my doppelbock. I do believe I'm going to need a beer before too long! Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

What I did for beer today

Nicely done! There are many, many amazing brewing platforms I've seen on this site over the years, and I've come to appreciate the simplicity of wood. When I rebuilt mine last summer, I ended up doing a single tier wooden platform, primarily to justify getting a pump. 🍻. Not fancy, but...

What I did for beer today

Hahaha! Mine hasn't seen "the list", but she knows it's coming. I will be picking up ingredients for the lagers this weekend, so I can get those knocked out first. Any particular styles you're focusing on? I'll be brewing a handful I'm comfortable with, and several handfuls that I've never done...

What I did for beer today

Started to map out an upcoming brew schedule. Between providing beer for a wedding reception, wanting to submit 10 different batches in the local homebrew competition this summer, and general consumption, I've got at least 14 batches to brew between now and June. What I did for beer today

After two days of running the propane heater both zones finally opened up and we have heat flowing to the concrete pad again! And equally important, the beer is happily fermenting away in the fermentation chamber!
