Funny you should mention that - the first brew I made was from a kit - I tasted it and eventhough I am sure I didn't do all of the steps correctly I honestly thought it was one of the freshest, greatest tasting beers I had ever tasted.

What would you guys guess would be the total start up cost? There is definatlely a market for small breweries in my area.

I'd have to cut into the electrical cord and strip wire and jimmy it all together - I am not the handiest guy.

So I got a free 5.0 Cu Ft freezer from someone on kijiji - the freezer is 20 years old but works - it fits four kegs. My problem is that the lid is attached to the freezer body by two electrical cords - once I removed the lid from the body and placed my collar on top of the freezer I found...

So once the controller is installed into the collar where would I put the plug that is attached to the controller - how would I plug the freezer into this plug? You know what I mean? Has anyone installed a controller into a keezer?

I've been trying to find a sweet spot in this thread but I'll just ask here - can I use these temp controllers for my keezer build - how would you install it into the collar? Having a hard time picturing this I'm not the handiest person. I was thinking about buying a johnson but it would look...

I was wondering if there were any updates to this thread - I'm looking for some kegs and am having a tough time finding them. I know ontariokegs.com have them but 100 bucks plush s&h seems a bit steep.
