Hey whats the best and easiest way to transfer wort from pot to the carboy? When i tried to siphon one of the pieces fell of and now its fermenting with it since i cant get it out in anyway.

This confuses me a bit when i start fermenting i leave it for a week or so and then if i wanted to go do secondary what should i do? I have a 6 gallon carboy and a 5 gallon bucket if i ferment first in carboy then secondary in bucket but the bucket doesn't have a top or the aeration thing Do...

Hey I'm new just ordered my kit from northern brewer. Wondering about some stuff. Whats a good recipe to start out with or it doesn't matter since they are all about the same by difficulty? Whats a good store to get supplies for brewing hopefully in the east coast so the shipping is faster :)
