    antiquated burner- will it work?

    anyone familiar with a burner like in the pic? a friend of mine uses this for his clam steamer (commercial size for catering) will this work or am I gonna burn a hole in my kettle?

    keezer overkill?

    As my circle of friends learn of my brewing escapades :tank: some freebies have come my way. One friend dropped off a 15.5g keg recently. And last night another buddy gave me a really nice whirlpool chest freezer. Hey great! Except this is a 21.7cu' freezer. Hmmm. Seems a bit overkill...
