WOW, I hated this last year and they really got it right this year. Fantastic in 2013. I should have known, SN is the best brewery in the US. They never fail to amaze me or fix what isn't working. Now fix Celebration ale, 2012 was very disappointing and it's usually one of my favorite brews.

Love the Beer, always have, HATE THE NEW 4 PACK instead of 6. Also HATE the PRIcE as it has gone up again this year. 3rd year in a row the price has increased. 2011 was $11.99 a six = $2.00 a piece. 2012 was $12.99 a six = $2.16 a piece. 2013 is $10.99 a 4 = $2.75 a piece. F :mad:

My distributor here in the midwest said he was getting some 6 pack samplers, (Very Limited) today but he didn't have any details on it. I don't see anything on the SN site about it. Does anyone have any idea what it is?

Northern is in Oct but I forgot when Southern comes out. Just picked up SN Hoptimum today and that stuff is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was 9.99 for a bottle here in St. Louis & worth it.

I'm no pumpkin ale expert, as a matter of fact this was the first and only one I have tried. I have never tasted a beer that i couldn't drink until I drank this. Yuck. Just curious how this ranks with pumpkin drinkers and other pumpkin ales.

Picked one up last night at Whole foods in St louis which was just putting them out on the shelf as I walked by. Man what a strange hoppy beer. I think it tasted a little green with amazing potential. Not a lot of nose, nice dark amber color, good head. I have to get a few more and let...

1) Boston Lager 2) Winter Lager 3) White Ale 4) Chocolate Bock 5) Holiday Porter 6) Old Fezziwig Nothing special here IMO. Boston Lager and Holiday Porter are the stand outs for me, Winter Lager is , well ok, other than that the mix is pretty pedestrian. I expected more from Sam Adams...

I just brewed my 2nd all grain batch. Old Rasputin and it calls for a OSG of 1.092 After boil and cool down I show 1.071 ( crap ) Should I do anything to fix this? Thanks

After I cool down wort and before I pitch yeast how long should I run an air pump with a line and aeriation stone on it in the wort. thanks

First all grain & my OSG is low. I got a kit from Austin homebrew for Sierra Nevada Torpedo. 5 gal batch I had some temp issues getting the Mash temp down to start with after I mixed in the grain. The worksheet I used told me with a 73F grain temp to mash in 164F to get a mash temp of 150F...
