    Safbrew S-33 yeast

    Hi everyone, I recently used the S-33 yeast from Safbrew. It took almost 72 hours to become vigorously active in a 5 gallon batch of double oatmeal stout (OG - 1.050). Is this a normal occurrence? Does anyone have experience with this type of yeast or perhaps brewing stouts? Thanks...
