    Half the batch, on the floor plus broken glass!

    Yeah, what fun bottling is! I (clumsily) knocked over half of my batch while prepping to cap. :mad::mad::mad: Funny thing, I work for a distributor and had thought of putting each bottle into a separated box, but I didn't bring one home. I ended up with 24 bottles (well 23 and a half)...

    Apelwein... miscalculated 240oz short

    I guess my math is terrible today. I bought 5 96oz jugs of applejuice... so I need 2.5 more. Can I just leave it as-is until tomorrow with sugar and applejuice, or can I pitch yeast and add more tomorrow? What do you suggest?

    First batch, screwed up I think (too cold to pitch?)

    Well, everything was going well on my first brew. I got the wort in a bucket with ice water and it dropped temp QUICK! But I still thought I'd need more to get to 80* so I used 2 8lb bags of ice (saw it recommended in instructions and a book). Now I have ice-wort.... What do I do...
