If I bought a Cider kit is there a way of adding flavour to it as it’s fermenting? I did read somewhere about using cordial and boiling it and add it to the bucket. Instead of 6 pints of boiling water it would be 5 pints of boiling water and 1 pint of cordial. It’s the Wilko rich pickings apple...

I put hops 10g in the Thirsty devil this morning (day4). Gone online to look for a bottling bucket or auto siphon. But all either out stock or days and days to arrive. Just worried about leaving the brew in the primary with hops in for to long.

I’ve just started my Thirsty devil kit. My first one ever. the instructions say to add the 10g hops on day 4 and it should be ready in 6 days. I’ve read that people leave theirs for 2 weeks but worried it’s to long with hops in. My fermentation bucket is the Wilko 25l bucket.
